Trinity Foundation Sees Increase in Gala Attendance

On Saturday April 12th, members of the Delmarva community gathered at Heritage Shores in Bridgeville, DE to enjoy fine dining, live entertainment, and silent auction during the Trinity Foundation 2nd Annual Community Spring Gala. From 6-11p.m., 285 guests enjoyed music from Micah Walk, a recording artist from Illinois and Jumping Jukebox of Seaford while bidding on auction items that ranged from a Dreams Cancun vacation to pieces of work from local artists. This was a 63% increase in attendance from the 1st Annual Gala in 2007. “We are humbled and blessed to see such support from our community”, said Foundation Director Sarah Ruffcorn. “It is a true testament to the dedication of Team Trinity and its sponsoring partners when you gather this type of diverse crowd for a common goal.” The event raised over $14,000 at the initial count, as more donations are anticipated to filter in during subsequent weeks. “Without the support of all our sponsors, including Trinity Transport, Inc., the Banning Foundation, Trinity Distribution and Port Services, Nemours, Home Team Realty, Dreams Cancun, Meg Gem Jewelers, and Hidden Acres Clydesdale Farms to name just a few, we would not be able to have the impact we’ve seen in the past 3 years,” said Assistant Director Brandy McMullen.
